We’re looking for an experienced Sales Compensation Technical Analyst to join our Sales Compensation team. Reporting to the Director of Sales Compensation, you'll be based in San Jose, CA (with in-office work Tuesday-Thursday) or remotely across the US and be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining robust data models for compensation and sales analysis using SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Google Sheets
- Developing metrics, dashboards, and analytics to assess plan effectiveness, quota attainment, and SPIFF performance; providing recommendations into the semi-annual Sales Compensation planning cycle
- Creating and automating recurring month-end and quarter-end reporting, including attainment, leaderboards, and sales/compensation KPIs
- Owning and maintaining automated data flows into and out of Xactly (Incent/Connect), Salesforce, and Workato; troubleshooting and resolving data issues end-to-end
- Partnering with IT and Sales Operations to define and improve the workflow of commissionable data from Salesforce to Xactly to ensure accurate and timely calculations and eliminate manual processes
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in analytics/dashboarding within Finance, Sales Ops, or a similar analytical role handling sales and compensation data
- Familiarity with Xactly (Incent and/or Connect/data) and integrations with Salesforce
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data modeling; strong experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud DW), Tableau, and Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience working with sales and sales compensation datasets (attainment, quotas, bookings/billings, credits)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal direction
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., Xactly Connect jobs, cloud data pipelines)
- Knowledge of SaaS sales motions, quota setting, territories/crediting, and comp plan mechanics
- Basic scripting (e.g., Python) for data automation and QA
- Experience with data governance and documentation standards

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
