The Senior Manager, Workers’ Compensation at Walmart Claims Services provides strategic leadership over workers’ compensation quality, compliance, and operational performance across a complex, high-volume claims environment. This role ensures consistent application of regulatory standards, particularly California Workers’ Compensation—while driving quality improvement, risk mitigation, and strong claim outcomes. It’s a high-impact opportunity to shape enterprise WC practices and influence how quality and compliance are embedded into day-to-day operations.You will work closely with Claims, Legal, Risk, Finance, Quality and Technology teams to design training content in an electronic format and drive measurable improvements in the claim’s lifecycle. What you'll do...
- Lead workers’ compensation quality and compliance strategy across intake, investigation, medical management, RTW, and jurisdictional requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of California Workers’ Compensation regulations, identifying risks, trends, and compliance gaps.
- Establish audit frameworks, QA standards, and performance metrics to improve claim quality and outcomes.
- Partner with Claims, Legal, Risk, Finance, and Technology to drive process improvements and corrective actions.
- Extensive experience in workers’ compensation claims operations, with required expertise in California Workers’ Compensation.
- Proven success leading QA, compliance, or operational excellence initiatives in large, complex WC or TPA environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, audit methodology, and risk management practices.
- Ability to analyze claim data, identify trends, and influence senior leaders through clear, actionable insights.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
