DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's Total Rewards team as a Senior Total Rewards Analyst. In this role, you'll:
Contribute to our global compensation and benefits strategy
Collaborate with HR teams and business leaders to develop effective total rewards solutions
Analyze market trends and manage compensation programs, and facilitate the annual compensation cycle
Provide strategic consulting on salary administration, incentives, and long- term plan designs
Support critical projects such as benefit program desig, M&A integrations and system implementations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Align and harmonize compensation and benefits programs within EMEA countries to define and maintain an employee proposition aligned to the Company vision
Provide strategic counsel to management & HR clients on offer- making, job leveling, and internal equity adjustments
Assist and advise HR colleagues and the business on talent retention, job evaluations, gender pay gap issues and Union / Works Council activities
Ensure local benefits programs remain compliant with local legislation, competitive with local and job markets and aligned with the company total rewards strategy
Support M&A activities, focusing on Total Rewards integration
Assist in the planning of the annual total compensation process in Workday including market movement analysis, budgeting considering with local mandatory increases, validation and testing of tools and systems, process execution and data integrity checks
Support benefits design and policy development, communication to key stakeholders and employees
Oversee insured benefit providers and brokers across multiple locations and ensure productive relationship with those external providers
Contribute expertise to various Total Rewards projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree with 6+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience (minimum 3+ years in compensation or related field)
Preferred Fields: Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration
Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical & detail-oriented capabilities with focusing to problem-solving
Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Workday
Proven project management and multi- tasking abilities in a high-pace matrix environment
Excellent consulting, communication, and relationship- building skills both with internal stakeholders and external partners
Knowledge of global and European compensation practices and regulations
Experience with benefit platforms and flexible benefits technology
Strong problem- solving skills and ability to work independently
Financial acumen to align rewards strategies with business objectives
Fluent in English – Italian, Spanish, French or any additional European languages a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Certifications: Certified Compensation Profession preferred, Certified Equity Professional advantageous
