Job Overview
T-Mobile for Business (TFB) is growing fast—and so is the complexity and scale of our B2B compensation programs. We are seeking a high-impact, analytically driven Compensation Manager to support this organization. In this role, you’ll support compensation design and delivery across a dynamic and high-volume business segment. You'll partner with our Sr Compensation Managers to model scenarios, assess market data, prepare executive-ready deliverables, and support incentive program design and documentation. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, learns quickly, and takes full ownership of their work. This role will partner closely with the Enterprise Compensation team to provide end-to-end compensation support for the TFB client group—ensuring consistency, strategic alignment, and a seamless employee experience across all aspects of compensation.

** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be located in Overland Park, KS or Bellevue, WA **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end analytical support via modeling employee and business impacts for TFB Compensation including but not limited to: SPIFF/incentive plan design, modeling, & documentation, annual & ad-hoc market pricing efforts, reorganizations, role and/or compensation plan changes.
  • Contribute to the design and governance of compensation programs by preparing for and participating in Enterprise Compensation Operations Board (ECOB) and Compensation Exception Review Board (CERB) processes.
  • Help draft materials that translate analytical findings into implementable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Maintain and enhance documentation for compensation policies and tools.
  • Serve as a trusted execution partner for TFB’s Sr Compensation Managers.

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 7+ years of experience in Compensation, Finance or HR Analytics ideally supporting complex B2B sales organizations.
  • Strong understanding of both broad-based and incentive compensation design principles.
  • Analytical approach with advanced Excel skills; ability to model and interpret complex compensation scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset—works independently and delivers consistently.
  • Curious and self-directed—asks great questions, seeks understanding.
  • Experience in fast-paced or client-facing environments preferred.
  • Experience with compensation systems (e.g., Workday, Ignite, etc) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the telecom or technology sales landscape a plus.

Base Pay Range: $81,900 - $147,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
