The Position

The Reward Analyst - Compensation (German speaking) is responsible for providing essential services to the People Reward and Recognition (PR&R) chapter independently, focusing on job leveling, data submission, benchmarking, data analysis and the related administrative processes for Germany.

This role requires a deep understanding of global and local reward processes and timelines, with the ability to clearly articulate them. The Reward Analyst will also offer guidance on recurring reward inquiries and have a firm grasp of Roche Rewards policies and procedures.

The opportunity:

• Collaborating with Reward Partners on understanding organizational structures and roles

• Performing job evaluations and position description analysis

• Submitting data to benchmark provider and determine/recommend pay grades based on benchmark data

• Conducting internal and external compensation analysis to identify comparative salary trends and ensure equity across the organization

• Conducting audits and analysis on current programs, policies and procedures in order to develop recommendations on potential changes, gaps or enhancements to significantly improve existing practices and to create a more efficient and streamlined organization

• ​Behaving as role model to team members, showing positive and flexible attitude

• Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships in a proactive and customer outcomes focused way

• Building relationships with HR colleagues within the PSS organization as well as with customers to ensure ongoing service delivery effectiveness.

Who you are:

• Hands-on experience, knowledge in the compensation practice area which includes experience with benchmark data and leveling

• Fluent in written and spoken English AND German

• Strong customer centricity, problem-solving skills, growth & agile mindset

• Advanced critical thinking, end-to-end focus, customer service expertise

• Exceptional analytical skills, ability to turn data into a story

• Familiarity with analysis tools (i.e. Excel, Access, Smartsheet) and HR systems
