Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $65000 - $129225 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

As a key member of the Corporate Compensation team, the Compensation Manager will contribute to the team’s strategy for the Company by assisting in the implementation and administration of compensation. Successful candidates will have solid experience with Workday HRIS, leading projects, and have strong communication/relationship building skills.

The purpose of this role is to manage, configure, and maintain Workday's compensation modules, analyze compensation data, and support compensation decisions within an organization. This role will work closely with global teams including compensation, operations, and business partners to ensure accurate data, reports, integrations, and tools are available for data-driven decisions. This role requires understanding and applying compensation policies, designing compensation programs, and managing projects related to compensation system upgrades and rollouts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Compensation Expertise

  • Participates in the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation programs, salary infrastructure and leveling
  • Participates in and utilizes data from compensation surveys coordinated with online survey management and benchmarking tool to conduct competitive market analyses
  • Leads global year-end compensation review process
  • Ensures compensation practices are compliant with relevant legislation; including but not limited to monitoring minimum wage and threshold changes
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports on compensation data to identify potential pay equity disparities; implement improvements to pay equity practices

Compensation Business Partner

  • Works closely with People and Development (P&D) Partners to proactively understand and address the needs of client divisions/departments including evaluation of job levels and compensation recommendations
  • Educates and communicates policies, programs, processes, and philosophies

Systems and Process

  • Responsible for updating, maintaining, configuring, implementing, communicating, and evaluating system configuration
  • Main point of contact for troubleshooting, researching and resolving configuration and process issues
  • Responsible for continual process improvement by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the quality of operations

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven experience with Workday's compensation modules, including configuration, reporting, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and present data.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to compensation systems and processes.
  • Advanced level Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT, SUMIFs, etc.) and proficient with full Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Highly detailed with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Project management experience (preferred) related to Workday implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience with governance practices and development of processes and procedures.
  • Proactive nature, solutions oriented, positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to learn.
