The sales compensation team drives the strategy, design, governance & execution of the global sales compensation program across all businesses at Motorola Solutions.
Job Description
The successful candidate will bring a strategic perspective as well as the ability to be hands on and operational, and will specifically demonstrate the following:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will partner closely with Sales executive leadership, Finance, Operations, GTM and HR business partner communities in the international enterprise sales organization.
You will lead, own and manage a dedicated region within the international enterprise sales compensation program, This includes executing the payment & governance processes and continuing to develop a robust sales performance analytics program
You will play a critical role enhancing sales incentive compensation operations, including the integration of all roles into our Incentive Compensation system and harmonizing pay and incentive structures where appropriate.
You will be expected to identify process improvement initiatives and ensure our "people, processes & technology" are streamlined and accurate.
You will conduct sales performance analytics and dashboard reporting to enable executive management to adjust sales incentives to meet company goals.
This person must have a background that combines technical knowledge and relationship skills.
Experience & Ability to Learn:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of experience in compensation management, consulting, finance, audit, business/sales operations, data & analytics and/or related fields demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
Knowledge GTM strategy, sales operations, compensation practices, or the ability to learn rapidly
Ability to support aligning and developing performance-based compensation systems that align with business strategy, cost effectiveness and market competitiveness
Identifies current process and practice opportunities and obtains
leadership buy-in on proposed alternative solutions
Participates and collaborates with external peers and organizations to stay current on compensation trends, issues, legislative and compliance items to identifying possible implications and solutions to our sales organization
Provides on-going compensation support and expertise assists in the design and development of incentive plans guiding principles, and compensation policies and practices
