Meta is seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation & Benefits Director to lead our APAC region. As a key member of the International Compensation & Benefits team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent in the region.

Compensation & Benefits Director, APAC Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional compensation and benefits strategies that align with Meta's global policies and local market practices
  • Lead and manage a team of Compensation & Benefits professionals in the APAC region, fostering collaboration and optimal outcomes
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitiveness of our compensation and benefits offerings in the APAC region
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Business Leaders, to design and deliver compensation and benefits programs that meet business needs and support talent acquisition and retention goals
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including insurance providers, benefit administrators, and compensation consultants
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to employment, compensation, and benefits in the APAC region
  • Drive partnership with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, Recruiters & other key cross-functional partners to provide in-depth subject matter advice and guidance on compensation and benefits matters
  • Analyze and report on compensation and benefits trends, metrics, and ROI to inform business decisions
  • Maintain financial oversight and management of benefits programs to ensure long term financial sustainability
  • Passionate advocate for the potential of AI and the role of AI in how work is delivered and people are rewarded

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated communications skills with focus on stakeholder partnership and engagement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of APAC markets, labor laws, and regulations
  • Experience in designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs in a multinational corporation
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
  • Track record of growing and leading a high-performing and experienced team
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience working in the Tech industry
  • Certification in Compensation & Benefits, such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist or Global Professional in Human Resources
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or other APAC languages as this role manages communications with stakeholders/partners across the region
