Current Need
We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA.
Position Description
The Senior Compensation Analyst will support the administration and analysis of commissions and bonuses of the McKesson Medical-Surgical Field, Inside Sales, Lab, Health Systems, and Government teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Incentive Payment Administration - Calculates compensation and incentive award payments of Sales personnel based on compensation plan and incentive program provisions. Performs activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, training and administration of commissions or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas. Typically uses spreadsheets, ERP systems or dedicated Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) software programs(e.g Varicent) to gather data for payment calculation or analysis. Able to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of incentive payments as outlined in the plan. Resolves reconciliation issues and provide Sales team members and leaders with support regarding their compensation.
Incentive Payment Analytics - Analyze performance results, prepare incentive expense reports, presentations and recommendations for Sales, Finance, Category Management, and Marketing management. Perform cost analysis or modeling of alternative incentive plan design or quota levels. Conducts competitive market benchmarking on sales jobs.
Incentive Application Support - Make contributions in the development of test scripts and perform system user test execution as required.
Fleet Program Management – Periodically assist in ongoing maintenance of the company’s sales fleet driver program, in partnership with the company’s external third-party fleet manager.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills 5 plus years of compensation or financial analytics experience
Advanced level proficiency in Excel and Access
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge or background working with a Sales Incentive CRM/software package is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Collaborative and customer-focused
Knowledge of SQL is a plus
Strong problem solving, analytical ability and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Outstanding customer service skills
Education
Four(4)year degree in related field or equivalent experience
