The Senior Executive Compensation Consultant is a strategic leader responsible for building and maintaining the governance, structure, and analytical foundation that supports executive compensation in a public-company environment. This role focuses on framework design, planning cadence, coordination, and statutory readiness, ensuring executive compensation processes are well-structured and compliant

What You Can Expect

This role owns the operating model for executive compensation governance, enabling disciplined planning for Compensation Committee meetings, regulatory disclosures, and annual filings.

  • Own the annual calendar for executive compensation, including Compensation Committee planning materials and key filing milestones.

  • Develop presentation materials, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants.

  • Support research and preparation for shareholder engagement meetings, with a focus on executive compensation topics.

  • Establish clear decision frameworks, templates, and documentation standards to support consistent and defensible executive compensation decisions.

  • Track any key decisions, follow-ups, and approvals to ensure governance continuity and audit readiness.

  • Build and maintain Excel-based models and analyses to support executive pay decisions and scenario planning.

  • Establish and manage equity guidelines and budget parameters in alignment with company strategy and governance standards.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and external advisors to support public-company disclosures and filings (e.g., proxy/CD&A, 10-K, 8-K).

  • Anticipate upcoming governance, disclosure, and regulatory requirements and proactively prepare materials and analyses.

  • Ensure executive compensation processes are documented, repeatable, and scalable as the company evolves.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years experience in Compensation roles with 7+ years of experience in Executive Compensation within a public-company environment.

  • Strong understanding of executive compensation governance, regulatory requirements, and reporting cycles.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including modeling, scenario analysis, and data validation.

  • Ability to bring structure and rigor to complex, cross-functional work.

  • High judgment, discretion, and attention to detail when working with confidential information.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

144,800 - 214,340, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
