The Compensation Manager will play a critical role in leading and providing consultative compensation guidance, supporting select compensation and benefits programs, conducting ad-hoc and structured analytics, supporting wellbeing initiatives across the Greater China region. This role will ensure compliance with laws, pay equity requirements, and internal policies. This role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder management and the ability to interface directly with business leaders as required, and expertise in compensation planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

7+ years of experience in HR, Compensation & Benefits, or a related field

Strong analytical, data management, and communication skills

Proficiency in HR systems and advanced Excel

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Leverage an extensive market network to access timely and relevant insights.

Experience in an international matrix company is an added advantage

Compensation Consulting, Market Pricing & Pay Equity

Serve as a trusted compensation advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders by providing market-based guidance, pay recommendations, and decision support aligned with compensation philosophy and regional practices

Partner with leaders to evaluate compensation decisions related to hiring, promotions, internal movements, retention, and exceptions, ensuring alignment with internal equity, market positioning, and budget guidelines

Drive incentive standardization for Greater China region, with plans to extend frameworks and best practices across APAC

Lead annual and off-cycle compensation processes, including salary budget planning and salary structure adjustments by providing consultative guidance, approval support, and pay differentiation insights

Respond to ad-hoc compensation and market analysis requests, translating complex data into clear, leader-ready insights and recommendations

Ensure consistent interpretation and application of compensation policies, guidelines, and governance standards in partnership with HRBPs and regional stakeholders

University Relations Support - Maintain and update university salary guidelines with accurate market references

HR Systems & Process Support

Participate in UAT/UAM activities for the new HCM platform

Support in compensation related system clean-up and other activities as required

Stakeholder Engagement

Regularly engage with HR Business Partners, Legal, GDA, HRS Global Compensation teams, Data Privacy, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, University Relations, Benefits Delivery teams, and external vendors as relevant
