Job Description

In support of our hyper-growth Fortinet is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, experienced Global Compensation Leader. If you are a creative strategic thinker, analytical, have results-oriented leadership with wide-ranging experience in design and delivery of global base salary, incentive, sales compensation, equity and benefits programs for multi-national companies then this is your next career opportunity.

In this role we will be looking to you to enhance our ability to attract, engage and retain talent. You will lead, shape and influence the function to differentiate Fortinet from our competitors. The ideal candidate will take a collaborative and consultative approach with partners and key stakeholders that adds value to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s compensation and benefits programs.
  • You will oversee compensation and benefit surveys.
  • You will establish and/or maintain job/salary structures and career ladders, develop annual salary and equity budgets, and prepare/enforce policies and procedures to insure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation.
  • You will be responsible for equity and incentive plan design and incentive plan administration.
  • You will partner with the VP Talent Management and Executives on matters related to Executive compensation to ensure our programs are market competitive, increase shareholder value and are compliant with federal/state regulatory standards.
  • You will monitor and evaluate the company’s benefits programs including: insurance programs, retirement plans, sick leave, time off and vacation policies.
  • You will ensure benefit programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs. You will coordinate vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives.
  • You will enhance our compensation processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our HR team, key stakeholders and internal customers.
  • You will select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation for the compensation and benefits team.

Required Background and Skills:

  • 15+ years’ experience leading the design and delivery of global base salary, incentive, sales compensation, equity and benefits programs for multi-national company preferably in technology company.
  • Proven ability to use data to demonstrate key metrics and value.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and international legislation influencing compensation and benefits.
  • Flexible to operate well in a rapidly growing company and effect change where necessary.
  • Customer service centric, team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
  • Action oriented, drive for results, with thoughtfulness and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Oracle HCM experience a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience).

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion
