Job Summary:
Lead Compensation Partner is responsible for managing core compensation processes across broad-based programs, ensuring alignment with the Total Rewards philosophy and direction from global Total Rewards leadership. This role sponsors and leads cross-functional and global projects, and takes ownership of compensation-related business processes, including project management, training content development, and delivery of key program milestones. The Lead Compensation Partner serves as a consultative resource to HR Business Partners, providing guidance on compensation matters and resolving related challenges. The role requires independent thinking, initiative, and a continuous focus on process improvement, including leading ad-hoc compensation projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Core Compensation Management
- Own and manage core compensation processes for broad-based programs, ensuring alignment with Total Rewards philosophy.
- Administer routine compensation planning, including annual and mid-year compensation review cycles.
- Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking across all locations; analyze specialized roles and recommend actions to maintain competitiveness.
- Compare internal employee data to market benchmarks and recommend salary adjustments as needed.
- Own and manage core compensation processes for broad-based programs, ensuring alignment with Total Rewards philosophy.
- Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Initiatives
- Sponsor and lead cross-functional and global compensation projects.
- Drive project management activities, overseeing planning, execution, and milestone tracking.

- Governance & Collaboration
- Partner with global Total Rewards leadership to ensure consistency and compliance across regions.
- Collaborate with the global compensation team to govern job structure and leveling, adapting to evolving business needs.
- Partner with HR Technology to support Workday administration and optimize compensation processes, programs, including Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.

- Advisory & Training
- Serve as a consultative partner to managers, supervisors, and HR Business Partners on compensation processes and issue resolution.
- Develop and deliver training content for compensation programs.
- Support the preparation and delivery of compensation communications and materials.
- Serve as a consultative partner to managers, supervisors, and HR Business Partners on compensation processes and issue resolution.
- Market Intelligence & Compliance
- Monitor industry trends and competitor practices to enhance compensation strategies and support best-in-class recruiting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and local/federal requirements.
- Maintain relationships with external consultants and vendors for survey submissions, contracts, and data reporting.

- Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of progressive compensation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related, or equivalent combination of relative experience and education
- Demonstrated proficiency with Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation
- Advanced computer software skills, including skilled Excel modeling and Pivots
- Proven success resolving moderately complex compensation issues in thoughtful and creative ways
- Superior analytical skills with an ability to evaluate high volumes of data and present data effectively to communicate insights and drive decisions
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy with a strong attention to detail
- Act with the highest level of integrity and sensitivity, especially working with people data
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- General knowledge of legal regulations affecting compensation administration

Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position is $122,000 to $153,000.
