Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike's HR Information Technology team is seeking a strategic, highly skilled Workday professional to drive critical talent and compensation initiatives alongside complex operational projects. In this senior role, you'll design and own our Workday Calibration and Succession processes, partner with our global Compensation team on Workday initiatives, and serve as the technical expert for high-complexity operations including M&A projects, global expansion, and other high-visibility initiatives. This is a high-impact position for a self-starter who thrives on solving complex problems, working independently with minimal supervision, and raising the bar for how we operate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Technology, Talent, Compensation, and HRBP teams to translate complex, ambiguous business needs into scalable Workday solutions, managing projects end-to-end from requirements through deployment

  • Design and configure global Calibration processes in Workday, partnering with HR teams to build biannual talent review cycles from the ground up

  • Lead the Workday functional workstream for our Succession Planning Extend application, translating business requirements into technical specifications, partnering with developers, and serving as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

  • Own merit and compensation data conversion, loading high-volume transaction data from our external compensation tool (Pave) into Workday, using advanced EIBs and rigorous data validation processes to manage both the data loads and conflicting transactions

  • Serve as the technical lead for M&A integrations, managing Workday data conversion, configuration, and setup to seamlessly onboard acquired companies into our HCM environment

  • Drive foundational Workday Compensation projects including job architecture restructures, allowance plan configuration, and ongoing optimization

  • Build new country configurations to support global expansion, including localization requirements, compliance setup, and coordination with HR and payroll teams

  • Act as an escalation point for high-complexity technical issues, troubleshooting advanced business processes, calculated fields, security configurations, and integration challenges across HCM, Compensation, and Talent

  • Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and fostering knowledge sharing within the HRIT team

  • Own biannual Workday release management for Compensation and Talent, including feature evaluation, testing, and implementation of relevant enhancements to continuously improve our Workday system

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of hands-on Workday experience with deep functional and configuration expertise, including 3+ years working with Talent and Core Compensation modules

  • Advanced configuration skills across HCM, Security, Core Compensation, and Talent & Performance, including building complex business processes, calculated fields, security architecture, and custom reporting

  • Expert-level EIB and Excel proficiency with high-volume HCM and Compensation data conversions, including rigorous data validation and advanced techniques for bulk handling of conflicting transactions

  • Strong project management capabilities with a demonstrated ability to drive mid-sized Workday projects end-to-end independently, from requirements gathering through deployment and hypercare

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to partner effectively with senior HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with competing priorities, delivering results on multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of translating unclear business needs into scalable, effective Workday solutions

  • Passion for operational excellence with demonstrated experience optimizing processes, creating comprehensive documentation, and driving efficiency

  • Self-directed and proactive work style, anticipating stakeholder needs, identifying improvement opportunities, and taking ownership from concept through execution

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

  • Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Core Compensation, Talent & Performance)

  • Experience with M&A integrations and/or global expansion in Workday, including data migration and multi-country configuration

  • Experience working on Workday Extend projects as a functional lead or business analyst

  • Familiarity with DocuSign integration and advanced document configuration

  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced technology companies
